Men’s 5

The potential was undeniable and the Board saw fit to establish a new Tantalus super team. From humble beginnings, the story of Mens 5 had begun.With Charlie taking over the head coaching job, she and Martijn worked together to handpick the remaining ballers with one goal in mind – to become the ultimate beerteam for the association. With so many strong prospects to choose from, the final team was with 18 strong. With straws drawn to see who made the 12-man lineup almost every game, the team gave it their all and showed stellar performances in the third half of the game.

To begin the 2023/2024 season, there were rumblings of a blockbuster trade in the works. News hit just as training camp began – key members of the team Joshua, Damianos and Georgi had been traded for Wouter. His trade value immediately decreased after the medical report revealed an absence of knees. Joshua appears to have taken the cut-throat decision to heart. At the time of writing, he seems to have played a match for every other team in Tantalus except for Mens 5, including the ladies. At the halfway point of this season and released on temporary assignments, Coach Charlie jetted to Bali to spread our love for Turkish pizza and our captain Timmy Red to Mexico to break ankles and hearts. They are still in the hearts of Mens 5. With Thomas stepping up to the head coaching position to lead us to victory, every game we still declare that “we love Turkish PIZZA”!!!!
